History

Haabtec, Inc. was incorporated in August 1994.  We are a privately owned business that places all of our attention on customer service and satisfaction.  Our 10,000 square foot facility in Shacklefords, Virginia affords us enough room to handle our customer’s needs and allows for expansion in the future as needed.  The owner, Robert “Bobby” Haab started Haabtec, Inc. after acquiring 22 years of experience in designing and manufacturing packing machines.   He then hired people he had worked with in the past and added to the companies knowledge and experience.  We manufacture custom-built packing machinery for the food, dairy, bottled water, juice, laundry aids, and pharmaceutical industries.  Every machine is designed to fit the needs of our customers.  We are not afraid to take on new challenges and welcome the opportunity to change the “old way” things have been done in the past.  We build equipment to handle the speeds of today and try to incorporate future speed requirements into our machinery.  Our pricing is very competitive and our quality is second to none.  What we offer as standard equipment is offered by most as expensive add-ons.  We use the best materials on our machinery.  Our equipment is made of all stainless steel frame and parts.  No mild steel or aluminum is used.   These are just a few things that make our machines the “Cadillac” of the industry.  Our advertising is mostly done the good old-fashioned way, by word of mouth.  Most of our business is from repeat customers or from clients who have seen our equipment and talked to our customers.
